Maricella Evangelista Named Student Wellness Coordinator for SIATech Schools

Dr. Delia Castillo Named SIATech’s Assistant Superintendent, Administrative Services
SIATech welcomes Dr. Delia Castillo as its new Assistant Superintendent Administrative Services. In this role Dr. Castillo will provide administrative oversight to our school sites, and supervise the communications and data services teams, among other responsibilities. Reminder of California Law on Firearms Storage and Safety

Message from IT: Leave It On!
by Mark Kiker We are encouraged to turn off the lights when we go home for the night to save electricity…but that does not work well for our computers. SIATech IT makes automated remote changes to student machines for updating software, pushing out fixes and installing new tools. It is imperative that all sites leave See The Story

SIATech Learning Summit 2019
SIATech California staff gathered in Oceanside last month to create a strong start to the school year. The event was organized by SIATech’s Instructional Services team. The keynote was given by Dr. Amy Lansing of UCSD who focuses on trauma-informed systems. Staff members then went to breakout sessions that addressed their subject content areas, administrative and compliance reminders, advances in career pathways, honoring diversity, building your brand, and much more.
