On Thursday, October 3, the Downtown LA Independent Study site hosted a Back to School Welcome Event. Students were given the opportunity to network, and prepare for their post graduation life. SIATech’s network of public California high schools graduated more than 375 young people in 2023-2024. This number continues to climb as students complete the coursework and credits each student needs in order to graduate with a WASC-accredited diploma. As of today, June 6, 2024, the number of SIATech graduates in 2023-24 is 382! This is See The Story

On Tuesday March 26, 2024, a total of 65 SIATech students were hosted by Mt. San Jacinto College for a day of empowerment and career exploration. SIATech high schools and central office will be closed in celebration of the Thanksgiving holiday. Our campuses and offices will be closed from November 20, 2023 – November 24, 2023, reopening on Monday, November 27, 2023. We wish everyone a wonderful holiday break!

By William Rochester SIATech Los Angeles held its graduation ceremony Friday, August 23, 2019, at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The graduation ceremony was done in conjunction with the Los Angeles Job Corps Center. It was a very beautiful ceremony that included a total of 62 SIATech graduates. Student Voting Matters! Are you registered to vote? Many students are new to voting and aren’t aware of the process. In 2008, 21% of young people ages 18-29 said they weren’t registered to vote because they missed the registration deadline. 6% said they didn’t know where or how to register.
