Our Career Technical Education teachers have begun implementing a series of In- Person workshops geared towards SIATech’s (5) pathways. Each CTE teacher will give a presentation that will increase the awareness of the various CTE pathways which are

  1. Health, Science and Medical Technology

  2. Information and Communication Technology

  3. Marketing, Sales and Service

  4. Transportation/Logistics

  5. Business and Finance

“One of our CTE Program goals this year is to increase student participation into pathways and increase the number of industry recognized credentials that students receive,” said CTE Coordinator, Ms. Fraticelli.

Director of CTE, Mr. Aragundi kicked off the first session where he visited all eight Independent Study Sites and was able to engage with 75 students across the sites. Mr. Argundi promoted the Health Science and Medical Technology pathway through his presentation How to Save a Life; Hands Only CPR.  He discussed and demonstrated life saving techniques for students and shared opportunities for students to earn certificates through the pathway.
