On Tuesday, April 15th, students from SIATech at Inland Empire Job Corps went on a field trip to explore the California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) campus.

The tour was full of exciting stops, including dorms, dining halls, and lively common areas. Students enjoyed exploring the student center, which features a bookstore, Esports room, and even a bowling alley.

A standout moment was visiting the Jack H. Brown building, home to the College of Business. The tour guide shared entrepreneurial opportunities, such as a Shark Tank-style competition where students can win money for their start-up ideas. Students were also fond of the Coyote statue, where they learned about a unique campus tradition of rubbing its right paw for good luck on tests and finals.

Students were impressed by the tour and the things the school had to offer.

"I found that it (the college) seemed very supportive, like the grocery mart they had, as well as a lot of clubs for the diverse groups on center. That's why I would attend," said SIATech IEJC student, Isabella.

These types of field trips are always enjoyable and help students see all the amazing opportunities college can offer, helping them grow and succeed.
