SIATech Indio High School Closed Today January 8 Due to Tyler Fire

SIATech Indio campus will be CLOSED today, Wednesday January 8, 2025 due to the Tyler Fire in Riverside County. 

Please contact your mentor teacher or principal (cynthia.delacruz@siatech.org) if you have questions. 

Students and families are encouraged to stay indoors, and monitor air quality and evacuation orders.

Evacuation Orders:

• For current information about active fires, go to RVCFire.org.
• All Riverside County residents should sign up for Alert RivCo at RivCoReady.org/AlertRivCo and download the County’s Protect app (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/genasys-protect/id1626884549)
• Monitor Cal Fire (https://www.fire.ca.gov) for fire information and current evacuation zones, or Instagram @calfire

Air Quality Monitoring:

• Monitor local air quality at https://www.AirNow.gov or AQMD

SIATech Schools are monitoring the situation and will provide an update about tomorrow's school operations later today.

SIATech Indio, SIATech Downtown Los Angeles, and SIATech East Los Angeles are also closed. All other SIATech campuses remain open at this time.
