SIATech North County and MiraCosta Community College Help Students Prepare for their Future

Like all our sites, SIATech NCIS works hard to help prepare students for their future. On Thursday, November 14, Jonathan Gomez and Gaby Beas from MiraCosta Community College visited NCIS to present and share information about their admissions process.

They highlighted the MiraCosta Promise which gives students the opportunity to obtain two years of free college.  In addition, they touched on other resources such as their Study Abroad program, and the Child Development Center where MiraCosta students with children are able to receive child care while earning an education.

California Community Colleges are a great option for students as they prepare for their next steps toward education and career path. Students that would like to obtain a four-year degree, can attend two-years free at community college before transferring to a four year university.

Gaby and Jonathan have been great resources to NCIS, by providing campus tours, and supporting students in the application, admission, and FAFSA process.
