On Tuesday, October 8 NCIS Mentor Teacher, Ms. Roletti surprised students and staff with a few furry friends. Roletti worked with non-profit organization Love on a Leash® to bring dogs to the NCIS campus to engage in pet therapy. Love on a Leash® was formed in the early 1980s in San Diego County. On Thursday, September 12, SIATech El Centro Independent Study held their Back to School Night! Students, parents and community members were invited to engage in an informative night and receive answers to any open questions. On Thursday, September 19, SIATech East LA hosted their Back to School event. The site kicked off its event by welcoming students, families, and community members to a meet and greet of the staff. On Thursday, October 3, the Downtown LA Independent Study site hosted a Back to School Welcome Event. Students were given the opportunity to network, and prepare for their post graduation life. SIATech Perris and SIATech Moreno Valley High Schools will be OPEN as usual on Thursday, Sept. 12. Due to improving air quality conditions, our SIATech Perris campus and SIATech Moreno Valley campus will RE-OPEN for classes on Thursday, Sept. 12, 2024. On August 14th, 2024, the Moreno Valley and Indio Independent Study Sites teamed up to visit the The Cheech Marin Center for Chicano Art & Culture in Riverside.
